The project involves the urban requalification and infrastructure redevelopment of the Presolana Pass through a study consistent with the objectives of the urban plans in force, in order to promote the development of a recognizable and liveable town away from fast traffic.

This goal is to be achieved through the following objectives: to connect the environmental, landscape and historical potential of the location to each other, with the awareness that such potential is a valuable tourism resource if it is included in a plan for the overall redevelopment of the area the residents live in; to allow a saving of land use compared to the scope of the work provided by the territorial zoning plan, by optimizing the disposition of masses; to enhance the location as a connection point between the towns of Colere, Castione della Presolana, and Angolo Terme.

Redeveloping a mountain village so as to put the existing hospitality business (seen also as a service for people) at its centre, with rest areas of high environmental value. A flexible system of services and tourist attractions for different seasons, able to enhance the hotel Grande Albergo Franceschetti in terms of tourism and accommodation, so that it can attract international visitors.

The Presolana Pass has been changed into a place where people can find accommodation and get together in equipped areas restored with a new look, thanks to the definition of new attractive content and the redevelopment of the part of the provincial road with a high urban concentration (approximately 2,600 square meters).
