PRIVACY PROTECTION
In accordance with Article 13 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (Personal Data Protection Code) and the 2018 Reform of EU rules on data protection (GDPR), we inform our users about the following points: Archos collects personal data of users browsing the website www.archos.it solely for the purpose of improving its informational offering, targeting it to users more accurately, and in accordance with its mission and corporate statute. Below, we list the cases in which Archos may collect and use personal data of users:

 

PURPOSES
User Data is collected to allow the Owner to provide its Services, as well as for the following purposes: Contacting the User, Interaction with social networks and external platforms, and Statistics. For more detailed information on the purposes of processing and the Personal Data relevant to each purpose, the User can refer to the respective sections of this document.

Details on the processing of Personal Data Personal Data is collected for the following purposes and using the following services:

  • Contact forms
    By filling in their Data in the contact form, subscription forms, and/or purchase forms, the User consents to their use to respond to requests for information, quotes, or any other nature indicated by the header of the form.
  • Mailing list or Newsletter
    By subscribing to the mailing list or newsletter, the User’s email address is automatically added to a contact list to which email messages containing information, including commercial and promotional nature, regarding this Site may be transmitted. Subscribing to the Archos newsletter allows you to stay regularly updated with the school’s activities, access exclusive content, and receive timely notifications about events of interest to our users. To register, it is necessary to provide personal data that may include name, surname, and an email address. The newsletter is managed with MailChimp, and your email address is stored on MailChimp servers (therefore also outside the European Union) and periodically within our backups.
  • Registrations or Reservations
    To manage registrations and other services related to the activities of the educational or sales offer, on the Archos website or through third-party websites, Archos reserves the right to request personal data.
  • Marketing campaigns
    With the user’s consent, Archos reserves the right to propose, through its website and related tools, the direct sending of informational and promotional material, by mail, fax, or email, such as magazines, invitations to exhibitions and events, seminars, workshops, and other events.

Social networks and external platforms
This type of service allows interaction with social networks or other external platforms directly from the pages of this Site. Interactions and information acquired by this Site are in any case subject to the User’s privacy settings for each social network. In the event that a service for interacting with social networks is installed, it is possible that, even if Users do not use the service, it may collect traffic data relating to the pages on which it is installed.

  • Meta
    The “Like” button and social widgets for Facebook and Instagram (Meta Inc.) are services for interacting with the Facebook and Instagram social networks provided by Meta Inc.   • Google Analytics (Google Inc.)
    Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses Personal Data collected for the purpose of tracking and examining the use of this Application, compiling reports and sharing them with other Google services. TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Navigation Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Archos website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified interested parties, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users who connect to the site, URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s computer environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to check its correct functioning and are deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

Contents embedded from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Content embedded from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website. These websites may collect data, use cookies, integrate additional third-party tracking, and monitor interaction with that embedded content.

Data voluntarily provided by the user
The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the newsletter subscription area or in the content commenting service involves the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, necessary to respond to the service or requested performance.

 

CONSENT
By subscribing to the service, the user implicitly consents to the processing, recording, and use of their personal data for the purposes provided for in the request phase. The consent to the processing of data for the purposes described above is optional. However, failure to provide data will make it impossible to achieve the requested performance. The consent given is considered valid until expressly revoked, which must be communicated via email to staff@archos.it or by letter addressed to our Legal Headquarters.


 

COOKIES
Cookies are data that is sent from a website and stored on the user’s computer by the user’s web browser while the user is browsing. This site uses only technical cookies (for more information, see the Cookie Policy). Archos uses technical cookies to allow users better use of the website and to make it easier to access and browse. Cookies are not used to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are systems for tracking users. The user can delete all cookies stored on their computer and set up most browsers to block their installation. In this case, the user may have to manually change some preferences each time they visit the site and it is possible that some services or certain functions of the site are not available.

DATA PROCESSING
Personal data is processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access. The data is stored on our servers and protected by automated and human security measures to ensure confidentiality and integrity.

DATA TRANSFER
The data is processed at the headquarters of the Owner and in any other place where the parties involved in the processing are located. For more information, the User can consult the Privacy Policy. The User’s Personal Data may be transferred to a country other than that in which the User is located. To obtain further information on the place of processing, the User can refer to the section relating to the details on the processing of Personal Data.

USER RIGHTS
Pursuant to Art. 7 of the Personal Data Protection Code and Articles 13, paragraph 2, and 15 to 21 of EU Regulation 2016/679, the user has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning him/her, even if not yet registered, and their communication in intelligible form. The user also has the right to obtain the indication:

  • the origin of the personal data; the purposes and methods of processing; the logic applied in the case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments; the identification details of the data controller, data processors, and the designated representative; the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of it as appointed representative in the territory of the State, data processors, or persons in charge of the processing. Furthermore, the user has the right to obtain:
  • updating, rectification or, when interested, integration of data; the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of data processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed; certification that the operations referred to in letters a) and b) have been brought to the attention, also as regards their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except in the case where such fulfillment proves impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the protected right; the portability of the data; the revocation of consent to the processing of data, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation;

Furthermore, the user has the right to object, in whole or in part:

  • for legitimate reasons, to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even if pertinent to the purpose of the collection;
  • to the processing of personal data concerning him/her for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct sales or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.

OWNERSHIP OF THE DATA PROCESSING
The data controller is the Archos S.r.l., with registered office in Albino (BG) Italy, via Valle del Muto, 25.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
The Data Controller reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy at any time by giving notice to Users on this page. Therefore, please consult this page often, taking as reference the date of the last modification indicated at the bottom. In case of non-acceptance of the changes made to this privacy policy, the user is required to cease using this Application and may request the Data Controller to remove their Personal Data. Unless otherwise specified, the previous privacy policy will continue to apply to Personal Data collected until then.

This privacy policy, which is the “Privacy Policy” of this Application, is valid for all sites managed by Archos S.r.l.
