single-family house

The house in the country that Valeria, my sister, bought on my advice was really ugly. It had been poorly built on sodden ground at the turn of the Second World War with anaesthetic salvaged materials and should have been demolished and rebuilt, but a series of bureaucratic quibbles prevented it. So, I decided to modify it with philological minimal renovation work, while rebalancing and harmonizing dimensions, holes and alignments.

When the contractor approached her, we witnessed the suicide of the building that with a long lament folded back on itself, fortunately without harm to people. Without declaring its death, however, I decided to respect the concession project by starting a more consistent reconstruction of my biodynamic belief.
