Technique allows us to achieve maximum results with minimum effort in all fields. (P. L. Nervi).
In this project, which can only include artificial solutions, natural elements are used as building components and they create architecture. Architecture should not define an interior space, but a protected space, without any gap in continuity between the inside and the outside.

We have studied the life and behaviour of the flora suitable for the artificial site around the building and then transformed the site into a natural habitat characterized by low consumption and maintenance requirements. The flowers, their shadows, and the endless chromatic variety of the leaves and trunks will provide for a constantly changing and evolving complex scenario.

From a methodological point of view, our programme for the design of the new heart of Helsinki has been organized as a land-scape project where the internal and external vegetation pattern influences the master plan and the relationships that are created between buildings and in buildings (and not the other way around).
