The projects were primarily assessed in their ability to reinterpret the typological characteristics and traditional compositional contents of their respective design themes in a contemporary context, while considering their inclination towards innovation, even when minimal but intelligent, in terms of technological, material, linguistic, and formal palette. Special attention was devoted to the relationship of the interventions with the surroundings, not so much in the direction of mimetic integration, but rather in terms of their capacity to understand environmental values (both landscape and architectural) and their critical transmission to the logic of design interpretation.
