Il workshop
Dal 5 al 9 luglio 2016 si è svolta la YSA Young Summer Academy 2016, corso residenziale per ragazzi da 9 a 14 anni: quattro giorni di lezioni e laboratori creativi di architettura, archeologia, teatro e fotografia. Una esperienza immersiva nel mondo del progetto, durante la quale i giovani partecipanti hanno potuto imparare a progettare il proprio spazio ideale per studio e tempo libero, facendo diretta esperienza del mestiere dell’architetto, dell’archeologo, tra momenti di yoga e teatro.


Programma

MERCOLEDì 6 LUGLIO
Presentazione dei laboratori creativi e lezioni di architettura con Edoardo Milesi e Michele Manigrasso.
Pranzo e visita a un vero cantiere per scoprire come i progetti diventano realtà.
Percorso tra le vie della città alla scoperta della Montalcino rinascimentale.

GIOVEDì 7 LUGLIO
Lezione di Elena Pezzotta e scuola di teatro con i Dynamis per imparare ad Abitare lo Spazio
Dopo la merenda: spettacolo teatrale a cura di Dynamis Teatro

VENERDì 8 LUGLIO
Un’intera giornata dedicata all’archeologia: visita al Parco Archeologico di Baratti-Populonia
lezione di Giulia Anna Milesi, laboratorio creativo di archeologia e merenda nel Parco.

SABATO 9 LUGLIO
Ultimo giorno di laboratori creativi. Dopo pranzo: allestimento dei progetti e presentazione ai genitori.
Alle 17.00 consegna degli attestati di partecipazione e grande festa di chiusura della Young Summer Academy 2016

The workshop
The YSA Young Summer Academy 2016, a residential course for children and youngsters aged 9 to 14 years, was held from 5 to 9 July 2016: lessons and creative workshops in architecture, archaeology, theatre and photography for four days. An immersive experience in the world of design, during which young participants learnt how to design their ideal places for study and leisure, thus making direct experience of the profession of architect and archaeologist, while also doing yoga and theatre activities.


Programme

WEDNESDAY, 6 JULY
Presentation of the creative workshops and architecture lessons by Edoardo Milesi and Michele Manigrasso.
Lunch and visit to a real construction site to discover how projects become reality.
A visit through the streets of the city to discover the Renaissance Montalcino.

THURSDAY, 7 JULY
Elena Pezzotta’s lesson and theatre school with Dynamis to learn about living space
After the snack: theatre show by Dynamis Theatre

FRIDAY, 8 JULY
Archaeology activities throughout the day: visit to the Archaeological Park of Baratti-Populonia
lesson by Giulia Anna Milesi, creative workshop of archaeology, and snack in the Park.

SATURDAY, 9 JULY
Last day of creative workshops. After lunch: preparation of the projects and presentation to the parents.
At 05:00 p.m. certificates of attendance are handed out and a big closing party of the Young Summer Academy 2016 is held.
